In May 17, 2016, Cen Jianjun, counsellor of the Education Department of the Embassy in the United States, visited the American State University and College Association (AASCU), Washington, D. C. headquarters. The association is a US civil education institution with 420 public colleges, universities and educational institutions in the United states. The public participation in the cen Vice President Mohammad fee and vice president Jackson will further promote cooperation between private educational institutions in-depth exchange of views.
CEN spoke highly of the achievements of the association with the Chinese educational community. Over the past 16 years, the two sides have jointly organized a number of cooperative projects with strong influence and strong demonstration effect. They have made positive contributions to deepening Sino US educational cooperation and friendship between China and the United states. I hope in the future negotiations in the high-level Sino US cultural exchanges mechanism under the framework of the two sides in the application of university teachers training, exchange of interns, long-term scholarship visits and a series of areas of mutual interest, integration of resources, to carry out high quality cooperation, so that both teachers and students benefit more, to further consolidate the foundation of Sino US friendship.
Vice President Jackson gave a detailed account of the 13 key cooperation projects between the State University and Institute and the Chinese side, and thanked the Embassy of the United States for its long-standing support. He fully endorsed the proposal made by the public, and said he would continue to cooperate with China to contribute to the cultural exchanges between China and the United states.
