Ambassador Cui Tiankai attends the new year's concert of Kennedy

  On the evening of February 6, 2017, the Kennedy Performing Arts Centre held a Chinese New Year concert. Chinese ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai, chairman of the national arts foundation, Zhu Jian, President of the Kennedy center, Ms. Deborah Root attended.
  Before the show, Ambassador Cui lute and took the stage to address my greetings to the audience in chicken. The ambassador of the Kennedy Center for the performing arts over the years to Sino US cultural exchanges and expressed gratitude to the center as meaning "Rooster peony auspicious paper-cut scroll".
  That night, the famous conductor Tang Muhai and the Beijing Symphony Orchestra for the 1600 spectators to bring the famous composer Mahler's "song of the earth", young Chinese composer Huang Ruo's works "wind" and "Flower Song", "Zou Xikou" and other popular songs. Chinese and Western programs and musicians skill of the audience greatly, the applause broke out from time to time. After the performance, the audience stood up and clapped for several minutes.

 

  This is the Kennedy Performing Arts Centre's new year's concert for second consecutive years. The concert marks a perfect stop for the four day celebration of the Chinese New Year at the Kennedy Center for the performing arts.
